Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Result

I am very pleased to be able to report that the Staunton-on-Wye Group Parish neighbourhood plan was approved in the referendum.

The result was:
Yes – 113
No – 16

Approximately 36% of the electorate voted.

The Staunton neighbourhood plan was the second plan in Herefordshire to be approved and will now have to be taken into account when any planning applications in the parish are determined.
Thank you to everyone who took the trouble to vote.

Congratulations also to Eardisley Parish Council who had their neighbourhood plan approved by a referendum on the same day.

Nigel Sellar – Chair, Neighbourhood Planning Group
