10th NOVEMBER 2018
On Saturday 10th November 2018 representatives of the Eardisley and District Royal British Legion will be meeting at the New Strand by 10:30am. They will raise the Union Flag to mark the start of our local Remembrance weekend and also the start of our tour around the local war memorials to commemorate the fallen of our villages. The tour is expected to last two hours.
Everyone is invited to attend all the commemorations should they wish but to enable people from the various locations to be present at their own war memorials it is hoped that the schedule attached below is of some use. Limited transport can be provided on the day.
It should be noted that the arrival times at each location are estimates and there is a possibility we may be running a little late by the time we get to the later venues. Should we get there slightly earlier than planned we will not begin until the time stated.
